OPTICAL FLOW. 3D Rotation Help_Urgency, Desperation… Have most of it set up.

May 4, 2011 | 7:53 am

I've been reviewing a lot of patches couple past days, and I can seem to make sense of using optical flow to connect to a jit.gl.handle in order to move a just a primitive 3D cube.

i have a patch set up with optical flow detecting left – right and up – down detection.
the movement goes from 0 – 1. and that can be detected,
but
how do i connect these to jit.gl.handle in order for it to link up???

thank you very much for your time.

attached is a screenshot and the patch…

im really unsure how/where i detect the amount of L-R and U-D to sent to the jit.gl.handle

how do u send things to jit.gl.handle in order for something else besides the mouse to control the rotation or movement of the object???

here is a patch that I have used in the past. it’s a bit messy and needs a lot of work, but it should point you in the right direction.
