[OT] installation in New York City

September 10, 2007 | 5:17 pm

Hi all,

A very cool art installation I did a lot of work for just opened up
at the Pace Wildenstein Gallery in New York City, on 25th St. (south
side) between 10th and 11th.

It’s composed of 4 self-contained, but video-based sculptures and two
projection works, one of which is interactive.

There was much jitter-ing involved in it.

Details, video, and more links here: http://pixelpusher.flkr.com/

evan
very nice. it’s great to see that whitman is still active – he’s
certainly one of the seminal figures in multimedia installation
pieces, getting his start back in the 60′s. i’ve always loved his
work – used to go to his loft in tribeca to see installations back in
the 70′s.
