<p>My piece with Tony Discenza uses Max/MSP/Jitter and a Wacom tablet to select scan lines from his video and use the luminosity values from each plane as coefficients that are convolved with the sound from the video.  His work chews up news footage; the matarial for the piece is 36 hours of Fox, MSNBC, and CNN, all from one day last summer.  The result is&#8230;</p>
