otudp, where is it?

September 23, 2008 | 11:00 pm

hi

Can somebody tell me where the otudp object is to be found. I know this is a CNMAT object but I can’t see it anywhere on the download page. I’ve installed all and both otudp read and otudp write are showing as bogus objects – am I missing something here?

Use udpsend and udpreceive objects instead. More stable replacements for
otudp, though they don’t implement all the messaging protocols of OSC.–

FYI:

If you give udpreceive a third, symbol argument (any symbol) it will pass a full-packet message to CNMAT’s OpenSoundControl object, which is a full implementation of OSC.
