Output to Remote Sl.
Hi everybody! I use novation Remote Sl Compact( pretty similar to Remote Sl) MIDI controler. If you don’t know yet it can comunicate with computer in 2 way comunication with Automap software and SysEx messages. It can receive parameter names and more from computer to screen and on/off messages to leds. So maybe somebody know how to export bang to leds or something like this. Hope you understand, my english is a bit poor. Thanks, Adam.
Up! Maybe somebody knows something that could be related to this? I really can’t find any information about it.
Try getting the [notein] and [noteout] objects working with it, then [ctlin] and [ctlout], and finally look to [sxformat] to figure out how to send SysEx messages. This one might take a bit more experimentation.
Alternately, go straight to [midiin] and get all the different kinds of messages at once, then separate them out as you need.
Seejayjames, thanks, I got the idea, will need to do some experiments.
Sixtin, yeah I know this function and I know the thread you’refering to, I readed it, but I didn’t find information how to control leds.
I can clearly see there is information on how to control the LEDs. There
is an example patch posted as well. You can write what ever
you want to the LEDs, you can also clear them. Maybe you should
explain a bit better what it is you want to control.
It looks like the attachment I originally posted on that thread
got dropped in the forum move. I will post it again when I get home.
Oh. My bad. When I said LEDs I mean those lights above the screen, not the screen. What I want to do is something similar to monome, but just in one or two rows so I could control them. Toogle on/off, etc. And yes, I found information about how to use patch that you posted but didn’t found a patch. So it would be great too if you would post it. Thank you very much.
I am trying to post my original patch but the forum will not show it.
Anyone else have any problems posting compressed patches?
Here is the RemoteSL test patch the demonstrates writing to the screen…
Anyone figured it out?
Is it possible to control the lights arounds encoders and buttons?
