Overwriting previously made wavefiles

March 25, 2012 | 9:30 am

Hi all,

I have a problem with my patch, where i can create and overwrite a wavefile as many times as i want, until i switch to another wavefile (which i can also overwrite as many times as i want) and try to switch back to the first one i made. It sounds kind of confusing, so i just added an example patch with a detailed description.

What am i doing wrong here?

Thanks.

Hi Ad,

From what i get from your patch is that every time you start a recording, a new wavefile is created. My problem is that i have a set number of wavefiles (for instance car.wav, tree.wav, ball.wav) and i want to be able to say: let’s record car, let’s record car again, let’s record tree, oh wait, let’s record car again).

It’s a different problem :)

Hi Ad,
