(pack) with a comma, or set starting number of a line with int

I’m trying to pack al list (to feed into a line object) because i want to set the starting integer. Is there a way to pack a list in the format *1, 3. 500* or is there a better way to specify the starting number of a line from with an int object.

Use sprintf. Hopefully this example gets you what you want.

The comma is just a shortcut for separating messages. Your “list” of 1, 3. 500 is equivalent to sending an int of 1, followed by a list of 3. 500
