A question for the kind people at Cycling or any other developer using Apples Package maker.

I want to place my Max/MSP App in a folder when it’s installed in /Applications/ just like the actual Max 5 app; however, when I create that folder (either with a Shell Script or by telling package maker to create the directory) the folder permissions are stuck Admin: Read-only.

Modifying it with a post script shell doesn’t seem to help, and the permissions are reverted when Repair Permissions is performed.

How does C74 do it with Max? Are you using Apple’s PackageMaker or something else? Has anyone else come across this issue or one like it?

Thanks, and happy (Canadian) thanksgiving!
