Passing other max objects into your external?

Passing other max objects into your external?

Let’s say I have two externals that I have created. Would it be possible to send an instance of one of those externals into the other?
Furthermore, how does max handle the similar concept of shared objects (such as a [buffer~], accessed from a [waveform~])?

Hello,

There is several ways to implement such things, you should have a look on :

- Sheep/shepherd example in the SDK ;

Since max 6 SDK accessing to buffer~ is implemented with a different approach.
