Paste Replace gone missing

Paste Replace gone missing

I’m using 4.6 + Jitter 1.6 on an Intel MacBook Pro, having just moved
from a G4 PowerBook. I’m just diving in this evening and discovered,
after hitting the Option/Command-V combo several times to no avail,
that the keyboard shortcut for Paste Replace has disappeared.

I use the keyboard shortcut for Paste Replace in 4.5 all the time.
It’s not gone for good in 4.6, is it? Say it isn’t so!

FWIW, that was never a standard shortcut. It’s installed w/ Emmanuel
Jordan’s ejie’s or Nathaniel Lecaude’s Max Toolbox (I think it’s the
former, but I might be mistaken).

I did install ejies right around the time I started using 4.5, so I
must have just missed this addition and assumed it was added to that
version of Max. I’ve installed ejies and the paste/replace shortcut
is back, along with shortcuts for encapsulate & de-encapsulate I also
use frequently.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Joshua.

Is there any reason it couldn’t be added to the standard distro?
Along with Encapsulate, that’s an incredibly useful key command.
