i made a very intensive patch im working on over 2 months…
it suddenly wont open. it just crash live in a sec.
last thing i did was adding some loadbangs so i guess the problem is there.
is there anyway to open a m4l patch direct in max? or to open it like in max with command-shift that no loadbang will occur???
the file is over 2MB but if it can help i can upload it somewhere else if anyone has some experience and can help out.
Could you open the patch with a text editor and then delete the lines that describe the loadbang objects, and then save & re-open normally?
yes indeed! thats what i did, but this was not the problem…
but i did fix it, just by starting to delete the last objects i have made until i found the one that made the trouble,
strange as it seems it a was an innocent [pattr] that seemed normal like all the others, the moment i erased it from the code, the patch came back as it was, i only lost the background color :)
and i could only open it in as a max patch and then transfered it to a new m4l device.
i will send it to the support i think its a strange bug they should have a look at…
pattr and preset seem to cause trouble in m4l
