Hi all,

is there any way of embedding a patch (or app) into a webpage like you can with java applications?

Thank you
Chris

hi

i’ve heard somewhere that it could be in max 5… not sure.
but it could be a really great feature… more powerful than flash?

that would be the crowning achievement in some respects, but I can’t begin to think about how hard it would be to write a Max plug-in for a browser… maybe the ’74 wizards have done it, but then again, maybe they shouldn’t have to. So a user has to download an executeable and then run it… so what? It’s still a way more powerful environment than Flash, in most respects…

Also, through Java (.mxj) and javascript, there can be plenty of communication between a running patch and a web page, or other locations on the Inter-Web. Just not entirely embedded, but that’s not really needed, IMHO.
