Patch something ala aka.keyboard w/ native objects ?
Hi everyone.
Is there a way to make a patch that works like aka.keyboard with only max objects ?
Cheers.
aka.keyboard is a Max object.
I think your question was, "is it possible to do this with only factory Max objects?"
You might be able to pull off some similar jiggery-pokery with Applescript or shell, but they aren't factory objects, either.
Otherwise… what aka.keyboard is doing is soooooooooooooooooo effing low-level that you're probably not going to have any joy without the real thing. AKA is the real thing.
You're right Peter about the question.
And you're also right, aka is the real thing.
I'm asking this question because of the 64 bit thing. I use max because I'm a Live user, so m4l actually. I'm still on Live 32 bit only because AKA is needed in my controlling setup, and I can't deal without it.
But that means that I'm tied to 32 bit ram limitation, and that is a problem on some of my Live sets.
Hello there, I am new around here but I just came across a recent aka.keyboard update which supports 64-bit in case anybody is still stuck with this problem: http://akamatsu.org/aka/max/objects/
