patch to emulate audio response image

Hello.
Since a couple of months I use jitter, as an oscilloscope or to render images that respond to the audio. But now I would like to create a patch that emulates the images that are created when a TV’s cathode tube responds or interprets audio.
I’m sowhat lost and do not now where to start…
I leave you a link:

with a couple of demos whith why I would like to do, more or less.

thanks.

(I hope I explained myself clearly enough)

Best wishes,
Oscar

Just as a starting point, you might take a look at the help file for
jit.graph, the cartesian-to-polar conversion in the jit.repos help
file, jit.gl.graph…. Hope that helps.

jit.poke and peek, phazor for sync. Ive tried to actually emulate a
video h + v sync signal in Jitter from audio, but I think the
frequency is just too high to do complete emulation, especially for
larger matrices.

have a go. check the jit.poke~ help

Dear Oscar,
vade and Dan both gave some pretty strong pointers as to how this can be realized. Have you tried their suggestions yet?

I know one patch I like that uses some of the same principles – it’s here:

and it’s purdy out-of-the-box.

Andreas.
