Patches made on a multi-screen mac cannot be relocated on main screen under XP?

Hello,

I have some patches made on a Macintosh with two screens. Some of them
were saved while their windows was on the screen without menubar. On a
Macintosh with a single screen, one can easily relocate the window to
the main screen by pressing the option key while selecting the patch in
Max’s “Window” menu.

Some of my students report they cannot do the same relocation under
Windows XP. Can anyone confirm this or indicate how to do it under XP?

Thank you in advance.

Trond Lossius made a patch (tl.movewindow if I remember well) with a
JS to collect all opened windows in a menu and select the one you
want to move in the center of the screen. I think it should be there :

Also, note that option/alt select of the window from the window menu
will being back to the main screen.

…Or you can also open the patch as text, and edit the second line, “#N
vpatcher … “, which mentions the origin coordinates as well as width and
height of the window. This solution works also for subpatchers of a patch.

As I asked in my first message, I know about this feature under MacOS
X, but does it work under XP too?

Thanks.
