PatchesHi everyone, I’m a total rookie with this package at the moment and I need to have a generated audio loop (created in garageband etc…) that will be triggered to play when someone touches a surface that I will make touch sensitive. Any ideas on where to start? Any help is greatly appreciated. Need anything I can get right now. Cheers |

max-wise, if you’re not doing anything other than playing a loop you’ve made somewhere else, take a look at the sfplay~ object. it’s very straightforward and a place to start if you’re a beginner. touch-sensitive interface-wise, google for the arduino or the miditron – both of these can straightforwardly interface electronics with max/msp. how is it going to be touch-sensitive? sounds interesting |

To achieve that in Max, you will surely need to learn Max through a few tutorials. If you will have a MIDI-touch surface, you will practice with the related tutorials. |

And as a plus Jean-Francois, with the up coming Live 8 and Max for Live, the World is our Oyster in the fields of making awesome Max patches to a platform like Live. Cant wait to get my copy of Live now, ooohh… |
