I appear to be recalling the patch settings from when I last saved the patch (not pattr) every time I load it up. For example a filter setting with default 20, reads 325, and I’ve not loaded or saved any pattr info that I know of.

I have the ‘@savemode 0′ arg on.

You will want to set the pattr’s autorestore attribute to 0 if you don’t want it to output the value it held when the patch was last saved.

Hello again,

If I set the pattrs autorestore without an argument and in the inspector to autorestore 0, this doesn’t get saved with the patch (when Ii load it is back to autorestore 1). Also the pattrstorage is set to autorestore 0, so shouldn’t this mean the pattrs don’t recall any data?

Is the solution to put an @autorestore 0 arg with every separate pattr object? I have a lot of them and don’t understand why the other methods aren’t working.

Any attribute that appears in the inspector with an italic must be frozen for it to be saved with the patcher, like @autorestore. Set the value and while toe attribute it still highlighted, click on the snowflake icon on the bottom left of the inspector window.

I’ve not thought too much about it, but why would you want this behavior as default? I’m sure there’s a reason but would still like to know :)

Also http://cycling74.com/forums/topic.php?id=30070

Can I freeze the bg colour too? Doesn’t look like it in the patchers inspector.
