I ran across this on page 156 of the 5.1.1 SDK PDF:

"For more information about object_register(), please consult the Pattr SDK, which covers this and other aspects of Max’s new "obex" object model."

What's this reference to the "Pattr SDK"?

The Pattr SDK is obsolete because all of the content of the Pattr SDK has been merged with the Max SDK as of version 5. I'll make sure this text is fixed for the next SDK release.

There certainly seems like a complete presentation in the current SDK, but I was wondering.

"Pattr SDK" references still exists in Max 6.0.4 API doc (p. 105, 534..).
