pattrstorage slot name as list?

Is there any reason why pattstorage slot names cannot be lists (I
mean several atoms, rather than what Max strictly regards as lists)?
The single-symbol thing is a bit of a cosmetic restriction…

While I’m here: it would be good to be able to see more than the
first three or four characters of the slot name in the storage window…

I could probably allow this in a future version. I’ll make a note.

There’s a secret attribute – @storage_colwidth – which will let you
change the slot-column width to your heart’s content.

Cheers; I wasn’t sure whether it would break any existing code…

Oh, also while I’m here, that reminds me: the scrollbars for the
clientwindow and storagewindow seem to be fiercely nonproportional:
they appear to be almost the complete length of the slot, regardless
of how much of the window display is visible, which is misleading and
makes scrolling accurately almost impossible.

(This is OS X; it appears better behaved on Windows, but then Max/MSP
on Windows doesn’t implement proportional scrollbars, which in this
instance appears to help…!)
