PD's " vd~ " ; is there a max equivalent ?

i’ve been using the vd~ object in PD and have been looking for the max/msp take on this. is there only tapin/tapout ? i’m a delay fiend.

here’s the description of the object .

" reads a signal from a delay line at a variable delay time (4-point-interpolation)
vd~ implements a 4-point interpolating delay tap from a corresponding delwrite~ object. the delay im milliseconds of the tap is specified by the incoming signal. etc "

it’s really fun.

best, jonathan

Emmanuel Jourdan has a variable length delay external: ej.vdb~
It can be found at http://www.e–j.com/?page_id=76
