performing an fft on a buffer

is there a simple way to perform an fft on a static buffer (and store the result in the buffer or another buffer), rather than doing it constantly on an audio input?

thanks

You should be able to read out the buffer through the [pfft~] into
another buffer, either using [groove~] and [record~] or similar, or
[peek~] and [poke~].

ok, so it’s a case of doing the fft from audio, but just recording the necessary bits, rather than doing it as a control step. that makes sense, cheers.

The correct/current URL for VASP is:

http://www.parasitaere-kapazitaeten.net/ext/vasp/
