perlin noise flow field

I’ve been looking for tutorials or info on how to create a perlin
noise flow field, an example of which can be seen here: http://
http://www.vimeo.com/136157 but so far no succes…
Does anyone happen to have pointers, links, … on this?

Somewhat OT, but vvvv is incredible for working with Perlin noise.
This video shows a quick attempt at a perlin noise flow field. The
entire patch took 10 minutes to do.
http://vimeo.com/1128712 – should be done converting in about an hour.

I need to re-earth this old thread. Links are down as they belong to the legacy site. I am interested in perlin manipulation via jitter and was wondering if anyone could point out a few examples or objects i need to look at.
Thanks
