Phase problem with phasor and cycle

Can anyone help me?

I’ve just tried to make one of my first basic patches.

I’ve got a phasor~ object generating a sawtooth wave and a cycle~ object generating a sine wave. I’m combining these for a two-oscillator synth sound but every time I start/stop the audio with ezdac~, the sound is different. It sounds like the phase between the two objects is changing each time I start up the audio.

Any ideas would be much appreciated…

Perhaps you might wish to investigate
the cos~ object for generating your
sinusoidal waveforms. Since they require
a phasor~, you can guarantee that your
waveforms are always in sync.

Use cycle~ without argument and connect the phasor to its second inlet.
Also check out saw~ for the sawtooth wave.

Cheers for the suggestions; I’ll give them a go…
