phase syncing

May 7, 2008 | 12:40 pm

greetings,

i am trying to add multiple waveforms and have noticed that sometimes the addition produces a waveform that’s much smaller than the two being added together. i’m assuming this is due to difference in phase. does anyone have any tips for locking a number of oscillators (cycle~, phasor~, rect~, triangle~, etc) into phase so that no signals end up canceling another out?

thanks,

Drive everything from a single phasor~ via rate~’s;
see rate~.help
cheers

I’m not sure I know exactly what you mean. I tried a few things, but still when I add the signals I get something other than what I am expecting.

Could you give an example of driving multiple oscillators from a phasor~? Not all are like cycle~ in that it has a phase inlet…
