sorry, I do not understand what you are trying to do. from your tags I believe you are trying to get sensors into the computer to trigger piano notes like those famous videos where people walk up and down the stairs, triggering notes?</p>
<p>creating the notes is quite simple with Max (just go through the Max/MSP-tutorials). </p>
<p>The hardware for getting the trigger sensors into the computer could be arduino (www.arduino.cc, which is cheap, but very flexible). You will need sensors, but I think for that piezos would do.</p>
