I'm trying to format some images to PICT format so I can use the pictctrl object to create some nice buttons in a user interface i'm building.

Does anyone know of a graphics editor that can actually do it?!

I've always used GIMP for graphics work before and found it fine but it doesn't support .pct/.pict files. Just downloaded the full trial of Photoshop CS5 and low and behold it won't save to PICT format!!

I think that knobman is the best solution.

both gimp and photoshop should export pict.

and max otoh should be able to use jpg, bmp, png, gif, and even photoshop format.
