pictctrl issues with images

I’ve created a PICT file with 129 colums and 2 rows, 100×100 each cell. The first row is all of the rendered dials. The second row is black and white, black where I want the image to come through.

When I load this pict file with the inspector and have ‘Image Mask’ selected, it just shows all black where the image goes. I’ve looked through the manual and it appears I am doing this correctly, yet nothing I do with a mask seems to work. Without a mask it is fine. Should I be padding extra space for the other rows that I am not using?

Site issues…I kept getting errors when I posted, not realizing that even though it errored out, it still posted it! Haha. I have sent a message to the moderators to delete the other two :)

is your image file maybe still a multilayer photoshop file?

else you probably only overlooked to turn off something in the
pictcontrol inspector
