Pitch Shifter

Hi, i would like to make a pitch schifter like in Logic Ultrabeat.
Do you now Ultrabeat in Logic? You can see what i would like to make in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uivN7FfuHC4

I search in maxhelps but i don’t find a help for this thing and i don’t find an object for work with pitch… i hope you can help me!

There are a few objects that change pitch, one that can be used inside of pfft~ called fbinshift~ and freqshift~, which can be used outside of pfft~. Check out the help files for those objects and you’ll be able to recreate the kind of sample pitch-shifting that you’re looking for!

Just to make things clear: Eli, fbinshift~ and freqshift~ do frequency shifting. shama was asking for pitch shifting. gizmo~ will do pitch shifting inside a pfft~. No time to check in Ultrabeat now, but I suspect the pitch shifting there may be implemented just as a faster playback of the sample. In that case, groove~ or play~ could be good options.
