play three videos on jit.window

May 5, 2012 | 9:09 pm

Hello everybody,
I’m trying to play three different videos in jit.window (called by a fiducial one at time) but these videos flick until I disconnect manually two videos from the jit.window.

Does anybody suggest me another output way different from jit.window?
Otherwise, does anybody know if there’s a method to create something for disconnect or connect jit.qt.movie from jit.window automatically with a bang?

I solved linking all videos in a single jit.qt.movies and then to the jit.window.

does that mean your problem is solved? I might have an idea how to solve it more elegantly, but I am not sure what you wann achieve.

Jitter Tutorials 8 and 9 cover mixing videos.

For plain ol’ switching between six movies, you’ll only want to send one of them to the window at a time. Could be something like this.

Thanks a lot for the example Christopher Dobrian – just one thing – the stop button doesn’t seem to work (at least for me).

Thanks, Sam
