I have been looking though archived threads about groove boxes, loopers etc... but cannot seem to find what I am looking for.

I am trying to layer up a series of samples of various sounds and effects on 8 channels of players in max. What I am trying to figure out is how to sync all of these samples so they start at the same time.

All of the samples are the same BPM and length so what I need to do is make some means of counter that will remember the play button has been selected but hold back the playing of the file until the counter reaches 0 (or 1) etc...

I have been looking at phasor~, wave~ & groove~ but can't seem to figure out the best way to use these objects to achieve what I am after!!

Any help, advice will be most appreciated!

After loading all your samples in buffer~ , play them with groove~ and send to all of them a message with 0. (or whatever start point you want)
