Now that I accept there’s no hope of ever using my plugs in Max 5, I find I can’t use them in PT LE 7.3 either.
I’ve re-installed Pluggo 3.6.1, repaired permissions, updated Pro Tools – all the usual stuff, but I cannot get them – or any Pluggos – to show up in the plug-in menus.
The pluggo.dpm is there in the Digi plug-ins folder, and all the Cycling & 3rd party Pluggos in the /vst/Pluggo folder… any ideas?
cheers
Roger

Gone very quiet in here these days, eh?
Of course, when there was still a mailing list, folks would at least see a post like this, even if they were too depressed to check the Pluggo forum every day…

Anyone from Cycling still checking this forum, or is support for Pluggo being phased out?
Cheers
Roger

Maybe clear out your other digi plugs, and see if it works by itself.

Email Ben in support if you’re still stuck.

a smooth transition from a pluggo forum to a max4live
forum would be my idea. at the end of the year it
could be renamed officially and then we´ll see what
happens.

hi Roger,

I was having a similar problem – turned out to be one Pluggo plug-in that was bad, and not only would *it* not load, but all the Pluggos after it (alphabetically) would not load either. Removal of the problem plug-in fixed the issue.

I would try moving the contents of /vst/Pluggo to a “not used” folder, and then try reintroducing just one Pluggo plug-in at a time.

Also, you might check the Console application (this is OS-X specific) to see if there’s any errors showing up when you launch Pro Tools, and it’s trying to access Pluggo.

Best of luck,
Leigh

I’m getting this problem again, this time with PTLE 8.0.3 on Snow Leopard.
On my iMac, no Pluggo’s will load into RTAS or AS.
On my MacBook, RTAS plugs load just fine, but for Ausiosuite, although all the plug names appear in the menus, whichever plug you choose, it loads the the first plug in the list alphabetically.
The only thing I can see in the Console relating to the AU scan is:

02/04/2010 18:14:08	AudioUnit Scan[716]	Error loading /Users/rogercar/Library/ScriptingAdditions/24U Appearance OSAX.osax/Contents/MacOS/24U Appearance OSAX: dlopen(/Users/rogercar/Library/ScriptingAdditions/24U Appearance OSAX.osax/Contents/MacOS/24U Appearance OSAX, 262): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Users/rogercar/Library/ScriptingAdditions/24U Appearance OSAX.osax/Contents/MacOS/24U Appearance OSAX: mach-o, but wrong architecture
02/04/2010 13:08:17	[0x0-0x3c03c].com.cycling74.AudioUnitScan[440]	AudioUnit Scan: OpenScripting.framework – scripting addition “/Users/rogercar/Library/ScriptingAdditions/24U Appearance OSAX.osax” declares no loadable handlers.

And for PT, just a couple of errors about midi drivers and Jack Router

Any ideas?
cheers
Roger

PS. Is there a list of the official Cycling Plugs anywhere? I’m trying to eliminate 3rd party plugs, but not sure if I’ve got them all.

Can anyone at least confirm that Pluggo still works for them as Audiosuite plugs in PT 8.0.3/Snow Leopard?
I’m getting the same Audiosuite problem on another machine (again RTAS is OK), and whilst I do appreciate that official support for Pluggo is dead, I’m sure there must be other users out there?
Just like to know if I’m wasting my time…
Cheers
Roger
