http://www.plugzilla.com/ ) or a Receptor ( http://www.museresearch.com/ )?

I am not sure what OS these machines run, its probably some kind of
Linux. As there are VST’s aimed at Windows just running fine on Linux
the next question would be, what to do to make pluggos run on Linux. I
guess the hardest part would be to get a pluggo runtime setup working as
all the nice externals are splattered around in the file system…

Anybody working in that direction already?

I also know that similar has been done on a linux box running WINE
(which is basically what receptor is).

So, while I don’t know any details, I do know it is possible.
