Hi,

i think i use ‘end, next’ to do the same thing..

a thing i personally don’t like about coll is that it simply returns
nothing if a symbol key is not present.
For these kinds of issues there are workarounds, however inelegant they
may sometimes seem, and since coll is an ancient and venerable object
(has it been around since the beginning ??) i think it is very unlikely
that there will be any major changes to it…

you can always make your own wrapper-abstraction around coll and make
it as elegant as you wish..

ciao,

Joost.

message [start, bang] to coll object.

Please note:
this message appears to be not documented any more on .pdf
documentation but it always remains the possibility to watch (and
check) messages to objects by alt-ctrl-clic on the object itself in
edit mode.
HTH, sincerely
