I'm using vst~ for the first time and I have one single question..

When I load a regular vst and send a "params" message to vst~ all parameters (knobs, sliders,..) than can be automated with Max are listed correctly.

When I however open Kontakt.vst (sample player by Native Instrument) over 500 parameters are listed (numbered, no names). When I open an instrument of which I would like to automate the parameters, no extra parameters are listed...

Am I correct in assuming you can't automate parameters from a kontakt instrument in Max?..

EDIT: in kontakt go to "auto" => host automation, where you can assign each parameter to be controlled by the DAW.
