I've been trying to run Ppooll 1.8 on both Max 5 and Max 6 runtime and it causes both to crash immediately. This is my first time trying to use Ppooll so I don't have anything to judge my issue by- but I can open other Max patches without a problem so it seems like it's localized to Ppool rather than Max in general. I have repaired permissions, rebooted, etc, reinstalled Max, etc., and it still consistently crashes upon opening. Runtime will open, then the yellow "clue" window will open briefly, then Max crashes. The program also crashes before I can see any results in the Max window so that's not a troubleshooting option. I tried Max 6 runtime as well with the same result.

All my crash reports are the same, and I'd be happy to post one if it might help. Unfortunately the Ppooll site doesn't have a working wiki/forum or anything so I can't get closer to the source for any help....

I'm on Mac OS 10.6.8, Max Runtime 5.1.9
