Was wondering if it was possible to preload clip slots without the clips triggering when they are being passed a new value?

I have included a live file and max for live instrument which shows what I mean.

Have to agree that clip slots firing all the time when editing the clip is a pain in the arse... Also does it when changing loop points etc...

solved! bit of a weird way of doing it but it works
