I just want to make a master preset control to recall everything in my patch.

If I add an extra inlet to the bpatcher that connects to the preset object I can then link all the internal preset objects with a global one in the main patcher. Is this the best solution?

No! The best solution is the pattr system, especially patterstorage and
autopattr. Maybe in combination with the pattr_ui.js from Charlie DeTar
which will provide a ui like the preset object.

To do this with the original preset object will drive you crazy, (I am
still not recovered from my attempts from the past when pattr wasn’t
available… ;-)

Looks like the easiest (and laziest) solution is to put autopattr objects in my bpatchers with the @autoname 1 atrributes.

Then in my main patcher I have a pattrstorage with the approrpiate controls for storing my presets. There is even a nice jsui object that mimics the look of the old preset object.

I like the fact that I can morph between settings as well. This will be very useful!
