Sometimes it's handy to print a line to the Max window after other print commands: blank, a bunch of slashes, whatever, but something so you can have easier separation of the other lines coming in. Especially when sets of lines come in as a group, and you don't want to confuse them with previous sets.

Maybe it could be three attributes in Preferences: separator on/off, separator text, printing threshold in msec. So it would delay a bit, like a [thresh], that way if you're printing sets of lines in a big group, it'll only print its line after the full set is done.

Anyway, might make monitoring or debugging easier sometimes.

Save this as an abstraction and use it in place of [print]. The second inlet sets the threshold in ms and the third sets the seperator to use. Remember to give it an argument so you can tell multiple instances from one another.
