hi - without knowing anything about the device I think it will be hard to help...

does anything in the device send any M4L commands to start the transport in Live?

Nop, no start command in the device, mmm, but play clip, maybe the same ?!

There is the device, be carful it take space and it is my first one ;)

rq : it strangely start play Live when I open the max device, that device start play on lots of actions ...?!

i tried the patch - i get alot of errors due to all the dials firing before m4l has initialised properly, but no playing of Live. yes, launching clips will start playback in Live...

So, do you know how can I prevent the "call fire" to be triggered exept from the live.button click ?

if i could reproduce that i'd feel more confident - do you have the amxd version to send me?

hmmmm. don't get Live starting to play at all - I wonder if it's due to different options? Maybe someone else could try and see if how it behaves on their system....

ok, now i see it. interesting. the following snipit should stop the fire being called for anything other than you pressing a button, but i'm not sure that the live.path object should be banging out the id again at that point...

Just noticed you're taking the live.id out of the middle outlet, that's why you're getting notified. taking it out of the left outlet will be fine in this situation.

Waoo, your patch work well, I don't anderstand why for know, but I'll try to find out what it does.

cool. have a look. btw, if you just change your patch to take the left outlet of live.path instead of the middle one, that will work also...
