I have a patch which populates a umenu with VST plugins using the java script from the vst~ object helpfile. This used to work fine, but since I got my new mac, it is now only finding .auinfo files. All my VSTs are stored in the same location as before and the correct filepath is included in the file preferences path list. I'm wondering if it might be a problem related to the 'role_id' (the code looks through the max db and searches for files where rolename = "audioplugin". The code was written by Andrew Pask and Tim Place so I'm thinking of contacting them directly if I don't have any luck here.
