I am having a some problems with my patch. 

1) Most of the time, the movie is recording without sound. Whatever I click, it stays without sound.

2) After the recording ends, I get an error that jit.uldl dopes not find the file

3) I want the sound to be on always whle recording, it turns of everytime I start recording (or is this part of write_preview). I will route the sound to speakers outside the recording booth so I will not have problems with feedback

not really sure about your specific problems, but you might want to give jit.vcr a shot. much more control over sound that way.
