I made a patch in Max5 on OS Mavericks, and wanted to collaborate on a project with someone using Max6 on OS (?)

Only problem is that the buffer~ doesn't seem to load the "sound file" that I wanted.

I in fact recorded sensor data into a sound buffer as .wav on my Max5 computer.

I have tried with read as well as with replace on the Max6 system, no joy.

The buffer~ object loads other audio fine (on both machines) fine.

But my Max5 recorded "audio file" does not load into the buffer in Max 6 - instead of the purple and blue buffer image when I double click on the object that displays all 50000 samples, the image is more like a green, and instead of 50000 samples, there is like, 4 or something. There aren't any messages on the Max Window to help me understand what's happening.

I'm not sure if a patch would help because you would need the "sound file" maybe to see, it is 8MB.
