problems with pattrstorage

October 1, 2008 | 12:35 pm

Hi,

I am using pattrstorage to save lots of numberboxes etc. like a cuelist. Works fine. But when I save it and reopen my patch almost all the saved data is lost. somehow it does not write or read the file correctly. Any one knows about this problem?

Thanxs for urgent help,
mr.l

You mean that part of the data is recalled, part of it is lost?
What about the xml file, can you dig inside to see if it’s complete or not?

Can you make a small version of your patch (delete everything except the
pattrstorage stuff), that would show the problem?
Make sure you also send your hardware/OS/software versions.

Hi,

thanx a lot for you help-offer. It is a bit complicated to make a small version, because it works with bpatchers. However, I think I solved the problem by now. Or better said: it seems it was no real problem with pattrstorage but with the patch. I am reasigning scriptingnames for numberboxes (like a patch-list) after starting the patch. But the pattrestorage is loaded before – therefore the names don’t correspond. If I do it the other way around, everything seems to work fine. I will watch it now and if it makes problems, I would come back asking for help! :)
