						<p>i think it has something to do with the poly~ .<br />
thispoly~ inside the poly~ patcher allows to change the state of its patcher . it means that you can allow it for process or block it .<br />
freed would mean that its free for use . its useful when working with polyphonic content . also for isolating poly patcher from any processing so it not eats any resources . </p>

						<p>I assume you&#8217;re referring to &#8216;freebang&#8217;. Yeah, the reference page maybe a bit vague but its help patch (alt-click the object) most certainly isn&#8217;t!</p>
<p>Put simply: when there is nothing left which &#8216;depends&#8217; or &#8216;encapsulates&#8217; the object or patcher then its &#8216;freed&#8217;.</p>
<p>So; say you have a patcher &#8220;A&#8221; which contains a patcher object (patcher &#8220;B&#8221;). The very moment where you have both patcher windows open and patcher &#8220;A&#8221; is closed then this means that patcher &#8220;B&#8221; is &#8216;freed&#8217;, nothing is &#8216;attached&#8217; to it any longer.</p>
