I have a probleme and hope it's not a too silly question.

I've made this little part of patch to choose a musical ambitus using 2 ksliders for the lowest and the highest note to choose.

It work perfectly when i configure each kslider in running mode but after when i change just one kslider it doesn't bang for a new calculation of the minus (substact message box).

Any idea to generate a new calculation at each kslider modification and not necessary by hiting both ?

With most objects (including minus [-]), only the left inlet is "hot" (i.e., triggers output). The other inlets are "cold."

The standard way of dealing with this is to place a trigger object (specifically: [t b i]) between the number box with your lower bounds and the [-] object. Then connect the right outlet of the trigger object (the "i," which sends out the integer value received by trigger) to the right inlet of the [-], and connect the left outlet of the trigger object ("b," representing a bang) to the left inlet of [-].

There are other ways to do this in Max, but this is the most common.
