Question about targetname for jit.anim.drive

June 15, 2012 | 11:51 pm

Hi All,

Doing some more with jit.anim.drive and I’m having trouble setting up with 2 jit.gl.camera objects.

I want to change the target of the jit.anim.drive on-the-fly to one or the other of the cameras, but it doesn’t seem to work. I can get it to work by using a connection from the anim object to a camera, but not by setting the camera name attribute and referring to it using targetname msg to jit.anim.

I’m uploading a patch that works using "wired" connection. Just want to know how to properly setup using naming instead of cabling =)

Thanks!

V

hi valentin. thanks for the patch.
there are currently some limitations preventing the jit.anim objects from working "wirelessly".
these have been removed for the next update.

for now, you can do something like the following:

– Pasted Max Patch, click to expand. –
