Question concerning alphaglue shader (bug with uyvy?)

Hello

Im having texture corruption and crashing with Max 4.6.2 and Jitter
1.6.2 on Intel OS X with the following patch.

Bang the matrix to make an alpha.

Read in a movie

Turn on rendering

you have a nice gradiated alpha on the video plane. colors are wrong.

click uyvy – colors are right (obviously).

now move the number box, I have texture corruption, and occasional
crashes.

Is this a bug? problem with the shader? below is a screenshot of my
output.

Ive also attempted to try using multitexture, which according the an
example in jitter-examples/render/jit.gl.texture.multi has a prepend
multitexture, which gridshape doesnt like. When sending an OB3D
something like texture tex1 tex2, , I get major crashes in Max,
especially if tex2 is @colormode alpha

Any ideas?

It isn’t really mentioned anywhere, but it is my experience that
@colormode alpha has massive problems. Don’t use it. @colormode
lumalpha is the way to go for setting grayscale images.

Yeah. I was just trying for the past hour to get multitexturing to
work with @colormode alpha and I wanted to throw my machine out the
window for the number of crashes I had.

Thanks wes.
