Hi,

1. Anyone create vst
s in Max 5, convert them to 4.6 to make vst
s?
If so – can I use my Max 5 lisence to download 4.6?

2. How is vst`s in made in max concerning system load/cpu.
Are they more efficient than plugins made in SE/SM?

3. Is it sure that max 5 will be able to export vst instruments,
or is the lack of both the timeline object and vst exporting because
they are going fuse with Ableton Live and make plugins exclusively for Live/ use the Live timeline for max.

Cheers

Cool,

Could you please tell me all you know about the Max/live collaboration, and if you have some links, that would be cool.

Do you think they are going to announce something at NAMM?

Im hoping to see a dedicated max browser shortcut between the internal instrument and vst browser on the left of Live wondow, with
max instruments, midi effects/generators and audio effects like the Live plugins :)
I guess im hoping for an additional Live version with max “built into it”, so the system load in max patches in Live would stay low, although launching the program will take ages ( Just opening max on my computer takes almost a minute or something )

Cheers

The “go back to max 4″ idea is more a joke than the real solution.
Unfortunately, it’s the only solution for the moment and because I can’t go back to Max 4, I’ll continue to wait just like a lot of people here.
