What is the easiest, most processer-efficient way to create a single value 1 plane matrix (ie a 320×240 1 plane matrix where every value is, say, 127)?

I need to create a bunch of them for packing together various single plane matrices into 4 plane matrices.

So far what I got is:

1. make a 1 char matrix the right dimension with jit.matrix

2. hit it with a bang so it spits out a solid black matrix (because I never define any matrix data it defaults to all 0s)

3. run it through a

I keep thinking there is an object or jit.matrix attribute that just does this in one clean simple step…

Thanks, bob
