quick time sync

July 14, 2008 | 11:32 pm

i was wondering if someone can give me a hint or maybe a example, to show me a god way of syncing a quicktime movie to audio.
i have looked at jit.catch and the tutorials, but i haven’t found a way. thanks a lot

not sure exactly what you’re trying to do, but one fairly easy and reliable way is to use the right output of groove to calculate "frame" messages to qt.movie at whatever grain you find acceptable.

like so…

#P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
#P window linecount 3;
#P comment 414 82 218 196617 could also use a separate metro for banging the qt.movie , and be able to sync at a slower rate than framerate , if desired;
#P user jit.fpsgui 161 343 60 196617 0;
#P flonum 200 84 41 9 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 221 221 221 222 222 222 0 0 0;
